Followup to my last post: the museum I voluntarily work on broken cars at, the British Transportation Museum of Dayton, Ohio, had a meet/fundraiser earlier today. I drove a Mini Moke, it broke down and caused a huge headache, I took some pictures. Here they are.

Another Mini, a Clubman!

Carpet was furnished in the Union Jack. Look at the mirror, it’s the Union Jack as well.

On a side street. We had to push it a fair distance uphill. Not fun.

The Moke on a dolly, heading to the museum

The Moke, back in the roost. We cracked the clutch slave cylinder and had actual clutch pedal functionality, but we did not drive it. Cylinder needs a rebuild, probably.

If you live in the Dayton, Ohio area and think these cars are cool, the museum gives tours of the collection by appointment. Their website ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) has an email address and a phone number to call if you want to see some old and weird cars.
